Super Friend came round today to help with the packing and we pretty much got everything upstairs cleared that isn’t staying till the end. However, when we took a load over to the storage space she started to look a bit hesitant and is not 100% sure that the big van is going to be enough. We looked at the van online that we are renting but between bad photos and conversions between metric, feet, cubic and square we got no closer to the answer. Our conversation went a bit like this:

SF: You just need to call the storage space and ask what size van you need for the room you have. I don’t know why you haven’t done this yet.

Me: Ummm, because I tried to email but there is no email address and then I tried to call but they were closed.

SF: Well then perhaps you need to try again. Think of all the man hours we have wasted trying to figure this out.

So I guess tomorrow I shall try calling them again and asking. No doubt they will tell me loads of information none of which I will understand at all.

Tonight I will begin the task of sorting through a pile of papers the majority of which I am sure can be shredded. Tomorrow I am letting my manager know that I am resigning as of Friday. I am sure she will not be best pleased as she will be stuck running the service but hopefully she will not attempt to kill me on the spot.

Off for some therapeutic shredding….
